The Quad City Botanical Center has been gloriously beautiful for 25 years, but a hot new permanent exhibit unveiled today brings it to a whole new level.

Davenport West High School will host a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday afternoon, for its new certified nursing assistant program.
The ceremony will also be an opportunity for students to show off their classroom and teach others about the courses offered.
Davenport School District Nurse Manager Joan Jutting said, this is the first CNA program offered to high school students in the Quad Cities.
